However, the rise of the Empire of Aranor brought a temporary cessation to their hostilities, as both cities were incorporated into the vast empire.

After the fall of Aranor, Eldoria emerged as a part of the newly formed Kingdom of Sarpentis. During this period, the Caldaris clan, a prominent Gnome family, seized power and established their rule over the city. The Caldaris clan's rise to power was aided by their alliance with certain Human noble houses, who recognized the benefits of a Gnome leader.
