You snap your shield into position as you begin a charge, ensuring that you are fully protected during your movement.  When you [[nexusframe:actions:Charge]], you may [[nexusframe:actions:raise_a_shield|Raise your Shield]] as a free action before beginning your movement.  After completing the Charge, you may choose to [[nexusframe:traits:Shield Bash]] the target, if you have that trait, as a free action.
