Footwork wins fights as surely as the edge of steel. With practice, you can close or extend measure fluidly while striking. When making a [[legacy:rules:basic_attacks|basic attack]], you may [[legacy:rules:actions:Step]] as a free action either before or after the attack.

If you choose to move before the attack, gain +1 to hit if your Step brings you into exactly your weapon’s striking reach.
