While your Origin typically chooses when to speak with you, it is possible for you to seek its guidance on the future. By meditating on a course of action for one minute, you can entreat your Origin for insight into the consequences of your decisions. The Director will secretly roll 2d10, applying a -2 penalty for each time this power has been used in the past 24 hours. * **18 or more**: You learn whether the course of action will lead to good or bad results, and the degree (great or lesser). Your Origin also provides a cryptic hint to aid you in your decision. * **14-17**: You learn whether the course of action will lead to good or bad results, and the degree (great or lesser). * **9-13**: You learn whether the course of action will lead to good or bad results, but not the degree. * **5-8**: You receive no helpful answer. Your Origin may refuse to answer, or offer a vague and ambiguous response that is obviously unhelpful. * **4 or less**: Your Origin is irritated with you, and //lies// about the results. Treat this as **14-17** above, save that if the result would be good, your Origin tells you it is bad, and vice versa.
