====== Recall Information ======

**Time Required**:  1 second or more\\
**Skill**:  Lore.

You attempt to recall some piece of information.  The table below gives a good range of Target Numbers for this sort of skill check.

|You have access to a library or other font of information  |  -6†  |
|The knowledge concerns something about which you have direct, first-hand experience  |  -3  |
†It will take you one hour to take advantage of a library.

You suffer slight on the check if you do not have the correct Lore specialty, and the Director may inform you that //none// of your specialties are close enough for a successful check.  (In which case, you don't even get to roll.)

  * **Success**:  You recall the information in question.
  * **Failure**:  You cannot recall the information.  You may try again, //unless// either of the dice rolled came up showing a one.  In that event, you cannot try again until you have completed a Long Rest.

If the Director never came up with information on the subject you request, don't be surprised if they ask you to make it up on the spot!
