====== Forge a Document ======

**Requires**:  A [[legacy:equipment:kits:Forgery Kit]] or [[legacy:equipment:kits:diplomats_kit|Diplomat's Kit]]

You can attempt to create a false document.  Roll the //lower// of your Crafting and Deception skills.  The value that you roll becomes the TN for others to determine that the document is, in fact, a forgery.

Another character who wishes to verify the forged document must take a complex action to examine the document.  They then roll an appropriate skill (Lore and Society are good examples) vs. the established TN for the document.

===== Equipment =====

Both the Diplomat's Kit and the Forger's Kit contain the materials needed to create documents.  However, the Diplomat's Kit is not optimized for forgery.  You //must// have an appropriate kit to even attempt this action, but if you are using a Diplomat's Kit, you suffer slight to the attempt.  Creating a forgery consumes one use from the kit.
