A bitter Concoction brewed from rare flowers, this substance makes it difficult for the imbiber to judge the consequences of their speech. As a result, it inflicts slight on Deception skill checks made while it is in effect, or (for NPCs) grants favour on Insight checks to resist Deception.

In Sarika, Sirahala and Kashrak, Vino Veritas Powder is considered a shady item. In Meridia, Vino Veritas in any form is a banned substance.

**Elixir**: Each dose of Vino Veritas Elixir contains enough for two people, and is often taken to ensure honest dealings between two individuals. It lasts for one minute.

**Incense**:  All individuals who remain within the area of effect of the Incense for one minute or longer are affected.  The effects last until the individual has been outside the area of effect for one minute.  The pungent odour produced by this Incense is immediately noticeable.

**Powder**: This form of Vino Veritas is actually a liquid, but is employed in the same manner as a Powder. It lasts for five minutes after taking effect.
