====== Research Kit ======

**Cost**: 30sp, plus 3sp per use.

This kit contains a wide range of handy tools, including:
  * Quills and parchment;
  * Magnifying lenses;
  * Deciphering tools;
  * Rare inks;
  * Ancient scrolls and tomes.

In particular, the tomes and scrolls are largely things that you haven't yet read.  When you have a minute to work on a problem, you can take the following action:

**Requires**  You have a Research Kit with at least one use remaining.

You dig through your documentation, looking for anything that may help with the current situation.  Choose one of the following options, and gain its benefit for the next five minutes:
  * Take favour on your next attempt to [[unbound:actions:Craft an Item]], [[unbound:actions:Disable a Device]], [[unbound:actions:Forge a Document]], [[unbound:actions:Recall Information]], [[unbound:actions:Repair an Item]] or [[unbound:actions:Translate Writing]].
  * Select a Lore specialty you do not currently have, and gain access to it.

Each use of Consult Documentation consumes a use from your Research Kit.  You can replenish a use by purchasing a fresh book or collection of scrolls.
