====== Take a Long Rest ======

**Time Required**:  12 hours (special)\\

The party elects to take an extended period of rest.  Over the twelve hour span, each party member gets eight hours of sleep and spends an hour on personal care and eating a meal.  This leaves them three hours for their own use.

During the course of a Long Rest, each party member must consume a day's food.  This can be from their personal ration supply, or---if they are in a friendly community--they may spend 3 copper pennies to purchase a meal.  (Gnomes pay only 2 copper pennies;  Aruna must pay 4 copper pennies;  Wyrmkind must pay 5 copper pennies.)  A character who does not eat a meal gains a level of the [[unbound:conditions:Hungry]] condition.

At the start of a Long Rest, each member of the party will gain Milestones equal to the party's current Victories, and the party's Victories are reset to zero.  

At the end of the Long Rest, each character regains a number of recoveries equal to their Body attribute, or one recovery, whichever is greater.  Each character will also recover an equal number of hit points of damage.

Characters in the party can spend their three personal hours to do whatever they wish.  Popular choices include:
