Solentia is a charming city with a unique character.  Its strategic location along the Timberfire River in northern Solentia has shaped its history and culture, making it a vital hub for trade and commerce.

Despite its modest size, Solentia boasts a diverse population, including Humans, Elves, Gnomes, and even a small Goblin enclave. These diverse groups contribute to the city's rich tapestry of cultures and traditions.  However, over the last hundred years, the population spilled out beyond the city walls, and even across the river.  The lack of a convenient bridge has resulted in several privately-operated ferries running across the river.

Solentia's economy is primarily driven by trade and agriculture. Its proximity to the river provides access to waterborne transportation, while the surrounding farmland ensures a steady supply of food. The city's strategic location also makes it a crossroads for travelers and merchants from neighboring regions.

Despite its challenges, Solentia has managed to maintain its identity and its role as a vital part of the Realms. Its unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty make it a fascinating and inviting destination.
