====== Lore ======

**Key Attribute**:  Intellect.

The Lore skill represents your character's deep understanding and specialized knowledge in a particular field of study or area of interest.  Those proficient in Lore have dedicated significant time and effort to mastering their chosen field, becoming authorities in their own right. Whether deciphering ancient texts, identifying rare flora and fauna, or unraveling the mysteries of the cosmos, characters with expertise in Lore possess invaluable insights and expertise that can aid in solving puzzles, uncovering secrets, or navigating encounters related to their specialized knowledge. This skill reflects your character's passion, dedication, and depth of understanding in their chosen area of expertise.

Lore requires characters to focus their expertise on a specific subject, such as:
  * Arcane magic;
  * Religions;
  * Animals or plants;
  * History;
  * Ancient civilizations;
  * Herbalism;
  * Legendary creatures.  

Choose a specialty for your Lore skill.  Outside your specialty, you suffer slight when attempting to use Lore, and the Director may rule that a subject is too outside your specialties for you to even roll.  When you upgrade your Lore skill, you may choose to add another specialty, rather than investing a training rank.
