====== Take a Long Rest ======

**Time Required**:  12 hours (special)\\
**Skill**:  None\\

The party elects to take an extended period of rest.  Over the twelve hour span, each party member gets eight hours of sleep and spends an hour on personal care and eating a meal.  This leaves them three hours for their own use.

At the end of the Long Rest, each character regains two Recovery dice, plus an amount equal to half their level (rounded down).  Recovery dice are restored in order from the smallest to the largest.  Each character will also recover one point of Injury.

Characters in the party can spend their three personal hours to do whatever they wish.  Popular choices include:

  * [[Gather Information]] (if in a friendly community);
