Mice – Norman English\\
Height: 6 to 8 inches tall\\
Weight: 1 to 1.5 lbs\\
Notes: Small but sturdy, nimble and quick. They'd likely be around the lower end of the scale compared to the other Kinds.\\
Names: William, Alinor, Ralf, Ysabel\\
Vibe: Courteous, orderly, tradition-bound, polite but resilient\\
Architecture: Stone keeps, chapels, walled gardens\\
Clothing: Tunics, tabards, polished boots, heraldic flourishes\\
Culture Notes: They value law, family, and keeping one's word. Feudal undertones.

Squirrels – Pictish\\
Height: 10 to 14 inches tall\\
Weight: 3 to 5 lbs\\
Notes: Agile, fast, and somewhat lean, with a strong upper body, especially suited to climbing.\\
Names: Nechtan, Eithne, Broc, Mairead\\
Vibe: Wild but wise, forest-savvy, keepers of memory and custom\\
Architecture: Timber longhouses, hill forts, hidden tree homes\\
Clothing: Tartans, belts, woven cloaks\\
Culture Notes: They live close to nature, keep oral history, and favour cleverness over force.

Hedgehogs – Saxon\\
Height: 8 to 10 inches tall\\
Weight: 2 to 3 lbs\\
Notes: Slightly shorter than most Kinds, but with a round, sturdy body that gives them more resilience. Their quills give them a natural defense, though they’re slower than some of the other Kinds.\\
Names: Eadric, Leofrun, Cuthbert, Aelgifu\\
Vibe: Stalwart, homely, stubborn and dependable\\
Architecture: Earth and timber houses, stockades, roundhouses\\
Clothing: Layered wool, simple embroidery\\
Culture Notes: They value hearth, craft, and quiet persistence. Proud of their heritage.

Badgers – Celtic\\
Height: 14 to 18 inches tall\\
Weight: 8 to 12 lbs\\
Notes: Much sturdier and bulkier than most of the other Kinds. They’d be a strong, heavy-set species, perfect for tanking and enduring hardships.\\
Names: Branwen, Daire, Fionn, Aoife\\
Vibe: Fierce, spiritual, poetic warriors and protectors\\
Architecture: Stone circles, cave sanctuaries, earthen ramparts\\
Clothing: Heavy wool, torcs, dyed fabrics\\
Culture Notes: They are seen as lorekeepers and defenders, tied to the land and myth.

Hares – French (Occitan)\\
Height: 12 to 16 inches tall\\
Weight: 4 to 6 lbs\\
Notes: Tall and lean, with long legs built for running, they are quicker than squirrels but more fragile.\\
Names: Elouan, Maelis, Rémy, Ysabeau\\
Vibe: Flashy, passionate, expressive and precise\\
Architecture: Tall windows, garden courtyards, tiled roofs\\
Clothing: Sashes, cloaks, rich colors\\

Otters – Norse/Germanic\\
Height: 16 to 20 inches tall\\
Weight: 8 to 15 lbs\\
Notes: More muscular and compact than most, otters are strong swimmers and well-built for both water and land. They strike a balance between the bulk of badgers and the agility of squirrels.\\

Vibe: Boisterous, brave, seafaring and kin-focused\\
Architecture: Longboats, riverside lodges, pillar halls\\
Clothing: Fur-trimmed, practical, leather and wool\\
Culture Notes: Otters value deeds, songs, and camaraderie. Masters of the river routes.

Shrews – Iberian (Galician/Basque flavor)\\
Height: 9 to 11 inches tall\\
Weight: 2 to 4 lbs\\
Notes: Aggressive and energetic, with a somewhat leaner build, similar to voles but faster and more erratic.\\
Names: Iñaki, Amaia, Xabier, Leire\\
Vibe: Quick-talking, passionate, proud, and inventive\\
Architecture: Steep-roofed stone homes, narrow alleys, sunny balconies\\
Clothing: Sashes, breezy shirts, bright scarves\\
Culture Notes: Shrews are resourceful, proud of their independence, and rich in oral tradition.
