Under their tutelage, you learned to harness the elements, distill potent concoctions, and manipulate substances in ways few could understand. Each day brought new challenges, but also new discoveries, as you inched closer to unlocking the secrets of alchemy.
+When you select Alchemist as your Back-Story, increase your Education by +1.  Then choose any other attribute, and increase it by +1 as well.  Add one training rank to your [[unbound:skills:Crafting]] skill.

+However, exposure to dangerous chemicals from a young age has taken a toll on your body.  Reduce your starting Stamina by five points.  Further, the various Guilds have a strong dislike of alchemists, because of their refusal to organize into a Guild---not to mention the various Concoctions that the Guilds strongly oppose.  You lose one point of Guild Prestige.  This //can// take you into negative Prestige!
