 +No special equipment is required to Make an Impression.  However, if you are using Diplomacy in the attempt, you may expend [[unbound:equipment:consumables#Luxury Items]], to a maximum of 15sp, to improve your chances.  The amount of gift items you spread out determines the bonus you receive for doing such, as described below.

 +The merchant is unwilling to sell Kioni ammunition, due to his prejudice against the Aruna.  Sir Roland decides to explain to the merchant that said prejudice is not in his best interest, and rolls Intimidation.  This is a third-party Affinity adjustment, so he suffers slight on the attempt, but still manages to roll a **success**.  Ethan, Sir Roland's player, makes a point of describing how Sir Roland shakes his helbarde under the merchant's nose and says, "Mr. Helbarde doesn't like racists."
