-====== Crafting ======

-**Pool**:  General\\
-**Tier**:  Initiate\\
-**Usage**:  Down-Time Action\\
-
-----
-
-You have learned how to fashion items from raw materials.  Note that this covers various techniques, but //not// an encyclopedic knowledge of methods, materials or recipes.
-
-You can take the Craft an Item action, listed below.
-
-===== Craft an Item =====
-
-**Type**:  Down-Time\\
-**Time Required**:  1 hour\\
-**Skill Check**:  Profession\\
-
-You spend an hour working on a crafting project.  You may work on an existing project, or you can start a new project, but you cannot have more projects underway than your training value in your Profession skill.
-
-To start a project, you may take this action with no skill check.  You must spend currency equal to 25% of the base cost of the item to purchase raw materials before starting the project. You can purchase these raw materials, or salvage them from other sources.  Add the cost of the raw materials to the project's value;  when the accumulated project value equals the purchase cost of the item, you have completed the item.
-
-When working on a project, you spend one hour and make a Profession skill check.
-  * **Complete Success**:  You accumulate 0.5\[Cs] towards completing the object.
-  * **Success**:  You accumulate 0.25\[Cs] towards completing the object.
-  * **Partial Success**:  You accumulate 0.1\[Cs] towards completing the object.
-  * **Failure**:  You accumulate 0.05\[Cs] towards completing the object.
-  * **Complete Failure**:  You make no progress on the item.
-
-==== Salvaging Materials ====
-
-You can use this action to salvage materials from an item. This is done in the same manner as Crafting an Item, save that the values accumulated are doubled. An item will yield up to 20% of its cost in raw materials before being exhausted, which can then be used to craft new items.
-
-If the item was [[nexusframe:conditions:Broken]], you can recover raw materials up to 10% of its value, instead of 20%.  If the item was [[nexusframe:conditions:Damaged]] or [[nexusframe:conditions:Destroyed]], you can only recover raw material up to 5% of its value.
