 Each deity offers four Doctrines related to their portfolio.  If you are playing in the Realms setting, each [[realms:deities|deity]] lists the four Doctrines to which they grant access.  If you are playing in a different setting, check with your Director to see what Doctrines your deity offers.
-Choose one of the four Doctrines offered by your deity.  You gain access to the spells within that Doctrine, and immediately learn the Power 1 spell of that Doctrine.  In addition, select one more spell from this Doctrine, or any other Doctrine to which you have access, whose Power is equal to or less than your Divine Spellcasting skill.  You learn that spell as well.
