 +====== Mathematics ======

 +On occasion, the game will offer a formula to calculate a value.  When using these formulae, follow the standard BEDMAS rules for mathematics---Brackets, Exponents, Division and Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.
 +
 +=== Multiplying Game Values ===
 +
 +When two or more rules direct you to multiply the same game value, total all multipliers before resolving, and then subtract one per multiplier past the first.  This applies only to game-mechanic values;  when multiplying real-world values, such as mass or distance, use regular rules for multiplying.
 +
 +The same rule applies for dividing game values.  Total all divisors, and then subtract one per divisor past the first.

 +<WRAP round box 80% center>As an example, Grey drinks an elixir that doubles his Speed.  He then activates a magical item that triples his Speed.  He adds two (for the elixir) and three (for the magical item), for a total of five, and then subtracts one (because there are two multipliers).  His Speed is multiplied by four.</WRAP>
